I have been working at Colburn Electric

Pros

The company is very family oriented and is very flexible when it comes to family issues. Benefits are pretty good for an industry that is known for having little to no benefits. There is one to two weeks paid vacation depending on the time in the company. Insurance for project managers and there family is paid for by the company. Project managers have five additional personal days that they can take if needed.

Cons

Sometimes the management is too trusting of some of its employees and is willing to give the employee the benefit of the doubt on most issues.

I have been working at Colburn Electric

    Pros

The enviorment is very fexible and relaxed. They expect you to put your family first.

    Cons

If you are average or sub par Colburn Electric is a great place work. However if you excell at your position you will find it very frustrating. You will find employees perform well below your level reveiving the same or even greater compensation. Here is one example. I profited about one million dollars in 2008 and yet only made about ten thousand dollars more than a project manager that lost two hundred thousand dollars. This is the same guy that has been in this job for four years and not made a dime. It is the same for the men in field. There is only about a two dollar per hour difference between the best and the worst.
