Pros

Good Associate discount,good benefits for full time associates, beautiful stores.

Cons

Too many floorset changes, not listening to associate views, HR people saying one thing, doing another, forgetting the MIssion of the company RESPECT! Reactiive, not proactive

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Every aspect of life needs to change, however the changes made at CWC are not positive changes.
Upper Mang. is out if touch, doesn't listen and doesn't seem to value loyal employees. Sometimes younger new people are not the answer. CWC turned away from the loyal core customer and
reached out to a younger demographic....lost what they did best. It did work, our paychecks and
our bonuses proved it. Also our standing in the industry!!!! Maybe they need to listen to store associates and value them.

    Pros

    beautiful location, kind co-workers, great sense of team work, great about not over working employees

    Cons

    lack of internal process (everyone has their own way of doing the same thing) lack of consistency with job roles and responsibilities between cross functional teams. no clarity on job level expectation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get HR to set up an expectation of each job level. set a standard pay along with how long you expect them to stay in that position before a possible promotion. be clear about your expectations and make sure HR follows through with publishing and promoting those standards and goals.
