Coldwater Creek – “Upper Mgmt gets away with murder”

Pros

The original intent of the company is commendable and made it worthwhile (while it lasted). Good product. CWC University was great (wish they could make it a reality). Those in the corp. office are always helpful. Great teams of caring and hard working people can be found in the stores.

Cons

Biggest complaint is that upper management can treat people anyway they want. No one is listening to the little guy --- no matter how hard the little guy tries to be heard. They can say they do not tolerate retaliation and that they promote respect, but it has to be more than just words.

Can't delight the customer without proper payroll! All too often our backs were against the wall trying to juggle tasking and customers and being reprimanded just for trying to get our job done.

Advice to Senior Management

Please take the time to look into concerns seriously. Check them out with the Associates! If the economy doesn't allow adequate payroll, please practice tolerance and understanding. Too many people are using fear to motivate.
