Pros

-The money is surreal (if you work hard)
-You learn a ridiculous amount about time and people management. Because you will be literally budgeting jobs to the minute every time.
-It is a tough job but the General Manager also acts as a mentor, so it is a perfect way to ease into the non-babysitting environment of real life.
-You get plenty of experience in communication.

Cons

-The work is difficult. One might go out and cold-call for an entire day and spending hard earned money on marketing without getting any leads.
-Work is outdoors, sometimes in pouring rain. Though of course you are given the choice to work that day or postpone it with the customer.
-Not all home owners are friendly to cold callers. (Though it was a surprisingly high 50/50 in my area)

Advice to ManagementAdvice

You have done an awesome job. Both the visits from the VP and the very personal, caring GMs make this company seem like a circle of family.

    Pros

Extreme development through attaining a disproportionate amount of responsibility relative to experience level. This is a very unique opportunity.

    Cons

Very intense workload/ hours— but necessary for learning/ development. Be ready!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure to keep top-talent coaches— they make the experience. Also, keep finding ways to share alumni stories, create networking opportunities, and keep people involved.
