I have been working at Colliers International as a contractor (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Large scale company with great reach across the globe, diversity of specializations and brand identification.

    Cons

Not for an unseasoned professional. There is no broker training, little support from management and principals and availability of resources are not marketed well.

I worked at Colliers International full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Fruitful opportunity to learn about real estate and analysis. Good exposure to management, brokerage, and community. Also good access to valuable tools utilized by the real estate profession. Plenty of opportunities to learn

    Cons

The culture varies dramatically office to office. You will have support from the national research office, but be wary of local management and policies. Consistency and implementation varies, and this can lead to workplace satisfaction issues within the administrative staff
