Current Employee - Intern in Berlin, CT

I have been working at Comcast as an intern for more than a year

Pros

The back-office has a great, team-oriented atmosphere where everybody is very willing to help one another out. If you are not customer-facing, your job is actually pretty cool.

Cons

The call centers are awful. People are unhappy and are constantly being yelled at by customers besides doing their best work.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire some of the dead weight and hire younger personnel.

I worked at Comcast full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I was given plenty of opportunities to use different skill-sets and strengths; excellent benefits; good corporate citizen; and (of course) free cable

    Cons

Lots of change - corporate office would not be a good fit for someone who isn't flexible

Current Employee - Sales Representative in Battle Creek, MI

I have been working at Comcast full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The company compensates very well, has amazing benefits and is easy to move upwards in.

    Cons

Things are constantly changing so you have to be able to adapt quickly. Comcast likes to launch something new first then fix it on the fly. Bad policies are eventually over turned but it can take a while.
