Former Employee - Administrative Assistant in Fresno, CA
Former Employee - Administrative Assistant in Fresno, CA

I worked at Comcast full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

This job was the best so far in my career. The company had a several corporate layoffs. Saw alot of good hard working committed employees let go. Invested many years there.

Cons

Got too big! All about numbers now! Not about hard working, long term invested employees.
Job security was depleted with the corporate layoffs.

I have been working at Comcast full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits, PTO, great pay for great work, fun environment.

    Cons

Horrible communication with management, lack of consistency with supervisors, lack of advancement opportunities, a lot less pay and benefits then previous years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

For a telecommunications company, communication through supervisors/managers is atrocious. I would receive quite a few different answers from different leadership...I mean they were off by a long shot. Also, benefits for call center employees has drastically decreased which in turn has hurt employee morale. Communication with techs is impossible from sales end, which has hurt customer interaction on calls.
