Pros

Comcast has one of the best benefit packages to offer such courtesy services, medical/dental/vision packages, and retirement plans.

Cons

The call volume is too high and the self-service options are too complex.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The leadership at Comcast needs to be more hands-on with the customers and call center representatives so they can have a more realistic idea of how things impact the customers when they implement new policies, marketing/promotional plans, and other changes that occurrs in the company.

    Pros

    Great local co-workers, but east/west corporate offices did not communicate well.

    Cons

    Senior management indecisive. Poorly orchestrated out-sourcing.

    Corporate management needs to formulate a clear plan for job descriptions and evaluations.

    Pros

    Brand Recognition - tho' mostly bad, still well-known. If you're an operational person, preferring to work on the immediate and not concerned with customers, then you'll like this company.

    Cons

    Management at all levels (division, regional and corporate) do not work with each other and speak ill of other managers. No respect or trust between or among peers and even less with those at other levels.

    Not customer focused. More concerned with satisfying Wall Street than their customers.

    Will not put the necessary capital expendictures necessary to provide services.

    Boys club.

    Hires only within the industry. Does not respect diverse opinions or experience. Silo mentality and lack of diverse consumer experience is this company's Achilles Heel.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Meet and exceed the customers needs and you'll meet and exceed Wall Street and shareholders. Satisfy only shareholders and you'll never satisfy the customer.
