Pros

Pros:
- Bank is big on diversity
- Excellent benefits
- The bank is located in strong markets (Texas, California, Florida)
- Senior management takes time to meet with local employees and listens to their concerns
- Good training programs for those just out of college. Comerica still has a commerical lending training program for those wanting to pursue a career as a Corporate Banking Officer.
- Conservative and competent credit culture

Cons

Cons:
- Average pay
- Small geographic footprint
- Not as IT sophisticated as other banks
- Outdated business processes
- Too focused on middle market/business banking segment. If you are looking to work on the retail side of banking, this isn't Comerica business model

Focus more attention to the retail banking segment.
