Comerica – “Buyer beware.”

Pros

Base plus bonus compensation can be good if the bank has a good year...but if not, can't really think of one...I was never happy working at Comerica.

Cons

Horrible culture, poor communication, "stab-you-in-the-back" politics at the highest levels...and a CEO who would rather not deal with people if he had his druthers.

Advice to Senior Management

Ask your employees questions, listen to them. Break down the walls between you and your employee base. Start leveraging the fact that you are a "small bank" and remove the massive amounts of bureaucracy and red tape that exists. Your size and nimbleness should be an advantage, not a anchor that slows down your decision making.
