I have been working at Commercial Metals

    Pros

Good health benefits, stock options, and retirement options. Family friendly environment that allows you to make your personal life a priority.

    Cons

Poor compensation, lack of value, poor managements, no respect for the individual, everything is driven by the bottom line. Management acts without all the facts

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

CMC needs to get back to being a company that respects the individual. You are losing your best and brightest people because of poor compensation, no opportunity for growth, and an out of touch senior management.

I have been working at Commercial Metals

    Pros

Pride in what the company manufactures, the blue collar jobs it provdes and the honor and loyalty the employees have.

    Cons

An execssive amount of senior management at corporate. There are so many Directors in just IT alone we can't get anything done at the Plants.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You talk about reducing costs so we can keep locations open so why not get rid of some of the mass amounts of executive management?
