Pros

Commission Junction offers a rare blend of talented people and a product/service that truly stands head and shoulders above their competitors. The focus on providing outstanding customer service is pervasive throughout the organization and is the primary reason why CJ develops such deep relationships with their clients. When you work for CJ, you have the luxury of being completely confident that your company values the service you provide to your clients and you can be proud of what you're doing from day to day. This is built into CJ's culture from the ground up and will continue to propel their success in the future.

Cons

Occasionally, CJ is a victim of its own success in that it can be difficult to keep pace with the company's growth by hiring and training qualified people to maintain a high stardard of customer service. This can lead to over-sized workloads for experienced client-facing folks.

Advice to Management

Just continue to maintain the company culture as you have been and your people will keep CJ at the forefront of the industry.

    Pros

    - fun, regular events at the HQ location in SB
    - intelligent, helpful coworkers I was able to learn from
    - interesting project

Overall I really enjoyed my experience with CJ.

    Cons

ValueClick (its parent company) is definitely more bureaucratic than the startup environment I'm now used to. The office in Westwood was mostly full of sales people, and phone calls can be disruptive in a cubicle environment.

    Pros

The people. They may it a fun place to work. If you're young and looking to get into a niche career in online marketing, this is a good stepping stone but one to leave after a couple of years max.

    Cons

Limited growth opportunities, little innovation, lots of office politics and drama.

    Advice to Management

    Hire better quality managers/mentors.
