    I worked at Commissionaires

    Pros

Being on spares board sucks, but once you become full-time at a site you enjoy, it's a great job. The base pay isn't that great, but your take home pay depends on the client site. Some clients are nice and pay a high spec rate. Great coworkers.

be aware that your job satisfaction is determined by the site you're working at. There are many crappy sites out there. Keep looking until you find one you like, don't give up on commissionaires all together. their medical benefits are great.

    Cons

Being on the spares board - ie. not having a steady site to work at.
Power-hungry supervisors who just love to give orders.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

increase the percentage of the clients' fee that goes to the commissionaires. administration does not require $8/hour. The company is supposed to be non-profit, yet doesn't act like it.
