Benefits, able to take off when needed. co-workers support system.

Cons

Salary is lower than most organizations, Upper management has no idea of the value of front line employees. too much politics.

Value your employee more... fight for bonus and better compensation. stop playing favorites.

    The agency was weak when it comes to governance and I collaborated with the Board of Directors (commissioners) by
    bringing a systematic disciplined approached to evaluate the operations and accomplishment of agency, hence improved the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance process, which instilled public confidence and transparency in the agency ability to operate more effectively.

    Frequency of Types of Occupational Fraud and Abuse: Fraudulent Financial Statements, Corruption, Asset Misappropriation, Undermining the reliability, quality, Transparency, and integrity of financial reporting process.Jeopardizes the integrity and objectivity of auditing profession.Senior management and mid-level lock of accountability, Concealed true business performance and Meeting government performance criteria set by the Board.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Establish effective board oversight of the " tone at the top" created by management.
    Avoid.setting unachievable financial and operating goals.
    Change goals if economic operating conditions require it.
    Encourage strong supervisory and leadership relationships within groups to ensure enforcement of accounting and operating procedures.
    Promote strong values, based on integrity, throughout the organization.
    Carefully monitor business transactions and Interpersonal relationships of suppliers, buyers,purchasing agents,sales representatives, and others who interfaces in the transactions between financial units and decision makers.
    Have policies that clearly defines prohibited behavior with respect to accounting and financial statement fraud.
    Provide regular training to all employees communicating prohibited behavior.
