Community Health Systems – “Unless you are senior management you don't matter.”
Pros
It is a steady job. Vacation time is good.
Cons
Employees are sacrificed for the almighty dollar. Senior management will hurt the hourly employee to get their bonus.
Positive feedback is non-existant. If you do well, your targets will be moved up so that you will never hit goal Just try to get the equipment you need. It takes many months to get anything approved and forget getting anything in the last quarter of the year. Even getting an employee replaced takes half a dozen signatures. By the time something gets through the system the employees are all upset because they feel nothing is being done. Middle managers then get blamed for the unhappy employees.
Advice to Senior Management
Realize that your employees matter company wide. Treat the little guy with respect and reap the rewards of happy customers.
