I have been working at Community Regional Medical Center full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Residency programs, and willing to hire new grads. Pay is competitive.

Cons

More parking may be needed because this hospital seems to be growing in staff.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Offer more department gatherings to unite staff and facilitate a better team atmosphere.

    Salary is good with a low cost of living

    Cons

    Bad air quality, leaves you feeling stuck if you want to move to the coast or Bay Area where cost of living is so high!

    I worked at Community Regional Medical Center part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    You learn great customer service skills and patients when you deal with the public, Hours are guaranteed if you work graves yard shift because no one wants to work those hours, also you learn new computer systems and it gives you an advantage when applying at other hospitals

    Cons

    Favoritism, Certain employees get special treatment or get the benefitted position due to knowing management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Learn to hear all sides of the story from employees and not just side with a worker/employee because your friends outside of work.

    Give Fulltime position or par time to the per diem first instead of the new hires with little or no experience,
