CompuCom is a great for the experience, but don't expect it to be a career.

Technical Support Technician (Current Employee)

ProsGood benefits including medical.
Work from home until called out to customer's site.
My Boss is 500+ miles away... no micro management.
Well defined job responsibilities.
Online training to get more I. T. certifications is provided and encouraged.

ConsCompensation is okay but could be better.
Mileage reimbursement is not as high as other companies.
As with other large corporations of this size, you are going to deal with lots of red tape over things such as ordering parts and maintaining inventory.
Doubtful to have a long career with this company. Your position is based on a contract with CompuCom's customer, and when it ends, so does your position.

Advice to Senior ManagementN/A

    Get in, get out before you complete a year.

    Pros: It will pay the bills until you find a better… Cons: Petty and clueless management, poor morale, most employees are overworked and not compensated for it, bringing your concerns… Advice to Senior Management: Pay attention to your employees instead of trying to convince them that they're happy - the morale there is probably the worst I've seen in… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
