    Pros

Pros: There are a lot of good people at CGS. Many of your fellow employees are friendly, personable, and talented. As long as you do your job you have steady employment. It is a wonderful place to gain experience and learn. There is a lot of growth opportunity in the sense that you can absorb more tasks and responsibilities. Phil Friedman is a talented individual who built this company from the ground up.

    Cons

There is no board. Management directives flow down directly from the CEO and no one's job is really safe. You are expected to work until the job is done, even if this means Saturdays and Sundays and late nights. Do not expect overtime. Your job is deemed a privilege and the phrase "just get it done" is often the only guideline management gives to its employees. 2 or 3 jobs can often be combined into one. If you do not produce you will be let go, immediately. You must be at work before 8:45. There are HR officials posted outside the door to take your attendance. If you are late 3 times you will be let go. An email is sent to your manager on the second time. The pervading atmosphere can be cut throat and ruthless.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's important to consider feedback from employees and integrate it into your business strategy. Listen to your employees. Concrete incentives such as pay raises to performance should be considered and credit should always be given to where it is due. Take stock in your employees. Invest in them and they will do you good.

My experience at CGS was very good, but I was lucky enough to be part of a great project and a great team.
