I have been working at Computer Sciences Corp full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

There are some interesting job opportunities but that's not due to the company, it's the contracts that they win.

Cons

CSC is cutting the infrastructure so drastically, it will soon be difficult for them to deliver quality products and services.

I worked at Computer Sciences Corp full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I speak to the Defense Contracting division here. In the mid-2000's when the cash flowed freely, there were lots of career grown opportunities such as International conferences and leading-edge technology projects. The company valued you as an individual.

    Cons

But the office politics could be cutthroat and the pay was so-so. Now with Defense draw downs, I'm confident there are fewer travel and conference opportunities to go around. Middle management layers have been slashed. During the five years I was there, they said CSC no longer stood for "Computer Sciences Corporation" but was simply three letters.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make CSC stand for something again.
