Pros

They've got some great products that can really do what they say they do. The people are really friendly and there's a relaxed atmosphere.

Cons

They have a terrible go to market execution and don't provide structured career development plans. Senior management don't seem to focus on the companies strengths and instead are either focussed on selling the company or driving their own agenda. They also tend to pay below the market rate.

Advice to Management

Need to attract and retain the best talent, there are a lot of clever, agile and attractive companies in the same market space that offer great incentives and provide awesome cultures. They need to compete with these people and Compuware isn't a big enough name on it's own to attract this talent.

    Pros

Their APM product line is a market leader. co-workers are nice/good to work with

    Cons

No career planing. All talk no action, Not employee oriented. treat like a body rather then asset. a slow sinking ship.

    Advice to Management

management only cares for themselves. IE while the CEO gave himself an assured 2 year severance if he was let go. he offered some employes just 2 weeks for 10 years service. Maybe treating employees like human beings may stop the downward spiral of the company

    Pros

Friendly people EMEA management is good Good product offering (APM)

    Cons

Commission plans took 6 months to be released 2 years in a row General way commission is paid... shocking- always mistakes Also the plans are getting progressively worst because compuware cost cutting incentives Not very flexible around taking time off during the festive period

    Advice to Management

Better commission plans and released in Q1 More flexibility around hoildays and working from home
