I have been working at ConAgra Foods full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Good pay for what you do.

Cons

Management, especially at the corporate level is clueless when it comes to what goes on at the plant level. All they care about are their own metrics no matter if it is a hindrance to productivity.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your lower level employees since they are the ones that make the company it's profit.

I worked at ConAgra Foods as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

As an intern at ConAgra Foods, I gained leadership skills, honed my presentation skills, and was able to enjoy my summer in a new city. I was given $4,500 to move to Chicago and my salary eas $1,200 bi-weekly.

    Cons

I was the first intern for my department and at times everything felt a little disorganized. By the end of the internship everything came together though.

I have been working at ConAgra Foods as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

It was great to work with an extremely knowledgeable team and to learn a ton about sales and retail effectiveness. The internship was a great experience with many perks and my boss was wonderful.

    Cons

I didn't love working in the suburbs when the city was so close by. Also, it's a little tough to make new friends because everyone is in their cubicles all day (although ConAgra does make a huge effort for fun work events)
