    Allow a Canadian to become Regional for Canada. As much as he tries it is hard for the current to report acccurately back to Raleigh as he doesn't live and breath the market up here.

    Pros

    Mark Laport does a great job leading, and motivating
    Work/Life Balance is somewhat attainable within Concord
    Fanatastic sense of team between GMs

    Cons

    Some of the senior leadership seems to have forgotten what it's like to manage a hotel.
    Financial expectation seem to be set based on what lenders want to see and not based on the reality of each specific market.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Have Senior management of ALL departments (HR, OPS, Sales) spend more time in the hotels so they know the markets they are overseeing.
