Pros

Easy and fun environment, nice colleagues,good professors, good administration, active research groups, good collaborations with other universities, good facilities.

Cons

The salary is not too high, the reputation is not too high, students are a little too isolated and in detail research topics are not assigned.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to improve the reputation of the university, increase the applicants qualification to improve the quality of the research and the university.

    be a student is free and more fun than being a full-time contract worker, and you also have vacation sometimes

    Cons

    low paid and short work period is the main drawbacks and will never deliver you to be professional techinican. bORING

    need to hire more smart hard working student, do not try to rely on low quality ta to work for you

    I worked at Concordia University

    Pros

    Good school, good researchers, good reseach facilities, good access to database, good computer labs, opportunities to teach, opportunities to get some hands on experience

    Cons

    research institue so no facility for regirous design testing, politics within the department, restricted resource allocations to graduate students, no pro-active measures for acquiring research funding by the teachers in engineering
