Current Employee – been working at Concur Technologies
Pros – 1) Flexibility to take on new challenging assignments and freedom to self manage.
2) Fast growth both organically and through acquisitions which brings new and interesting work and projects.
3) Management seems to value employees and being transparent.
Cons – 1) Pay and benefits seem not to align with goals. Often express that they want top talent, but when benefits cost went up HR claimed that it was market average, which doesn't make sense if you're trying to acquire top talent.
2) No real focus on career development
Advice to Senior Management – Put together programs to develop and retain top talent and communicate that to those individuals. They may be even identified and discussed as top talent, but they don't know.
