Pros

Amazing opportunities for growth if you make yourself invaluable. There are some truly incredible teams here, and it's all about showing your potential. Lots of fun and interesting events and ways to get involved, great food at the convenient cafeteria, and the reputation of the Conde Nast Brand is impressive to future employers.

Cons

Pay is low unless you leave and come back. A lot of assistants get stuck being temp to perm without benefits due to head count issues, which shows a lack of respect for the employees.

Advice to Management

Make your whole staff permanent. It's insulting to work for months and even years without gaining full time status. Pay could also use some serious improvement.

    Pros

Content is king. CN believes in quality people, quality magazines and quality work in every area. The competition is high, and success is rewarded.

    Cons

The publishing industry is going through upheaval in the move from print to digital, so the hours are long and hard, but I can't imagine a better company to invest in.

    Advice to Management

Follow the path blazed by Si.
