I have been working at Condé Nast as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

--At least in my department, atmosphere is supportive and collegial. No drama.
--Room for individual initiative in completing assigned projects
--Seems to have good track record of hiring past interns into paying roles
--Opportunity to contribute to a high-quality product that I personally read every week

    Cons

--Work could be tedious at times, although that's standard fare for an internship
--No pay for internships, although again that's standard for media industry
