I worked at Condé Nast as an intern (less than a year)

Pros

Great networking and learning opportunities, editors are kind and patient, weekly seminars, chance to brush shoulders with legendaries like Anna Wintour, learning the ins and outs of national publications, no over-working or Devil-Wears-Prada treatment

Cons

Full-time hours with no compensation—not even a MetroCard

I have been working at Condé Nast full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

best in class products, top talent in the biz (for the most part), solid perks. Most importantly, good opportunities to learn and grow if your perfom

    Cons

The politics are trick and some really talented people get pushed out by others with unwarrented egos. Digital is getting stronger and better than alot of mag companies, but still has a way to go

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

work harder at employee retention & training and do a better job of curbing bad behavior while still keeping the allure of the company
