Current Employee - Research & Insights Intern  in  Boston, MA
Current Employee - Research & Insights Intern in Boston, MA

Pros

Given lots of responsibility as an intern
Lots to do daily from multiple account teams
Wide range of expertise at the company which creates an idea learning environment
Always food from clients/meetings ;)

Cons

Sometimes the organizational structure is a little bit confusing, but you get the hang of it. Also, interns are put in a separate room from the rest of the company so it's easy to feel closed off if you don't make an effort to reach out to your managers.

Neutral Outlook

    Pros

The people are extremely friendly and the environment is very creative. You can create good relationships with your fellow interns, and the HR team tries hard to make learning experiences throughout the internship.

    Cons

Unpaid, all interns are sectioned off into one room, sometimes there is a lot of busy work or down time, they don't write recommendations after the internship

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Unpaid internships are very difficult to juggle as a student living in Boston.

    Pros

Mentors and staff treat interns like colleagues. Your work and opinions count.

    Cons

Integrating intern workspaces with those of staffers would make the experience a bit better.
