Pros

Congressional Internship program is a great opportunity to network and land a job right after your internship's over.
Opportunity to meet influential Latinos around the DC area and some other that will go a long way to help you land another internship/job or even write you a letter of recommendation.

Cons

Program assistant did have her favorites so they were going everywhere.
Program should run from January to May-July.
They don't share your work evaluations with you so you don't know how was your performance at your office.

Advice to Management

Please allow alumni to participate on galas and events for very low cost. Nothing more valuable than your alumni to be at your events. It proves your reputation as an organization and they can network and become an asset to the organization.

Very poor connection with alumni after the program.

    Pros

Great Networking Opportunities and Professional Development Experience.

    Cons

Organization suffers from Mission Creep, committed to its corporate donors and often too invested in quantity versus quality.

    Advice to Management

Stipends for Graduate Fellows should be increased, given the millions of dollars the organizations receives yearly from corporate donors.
