The veneer of working for a children's hospital wears thin very quickly.

I have been working at Connecticut Children's Medical Center full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Kids are great, and Connecticut Children's helps make them better

    Cons

The disengaged senior management team and the directors who are out for one thing - maintaining their ridiculous salaries and jobs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Shed some weight at the top, Marty. You have a serious problem with your management team (directors on up) that ignores the regular outflow of good people who were committed to their roles at CCMC. You should be questioning why that happens and doing something about it. You'll never be a great place to work when the majority of your great people keep leaving.
