Pros

The people at ConocoPhillips are very friendly and willing to help others out. They offer a lot of opportunities to individuals that are just coming out of college. There are many ways to learn more about the industry and see whether or not it is a good fit. ConocoPhillips also has great compensation and everyone seems to be very excited to work there. You are constantly challenged to apply everything you have learned into your work and have the guidance of the other employees. Overall, I would definitely recommend individuals to look at this company and consider it as an option.

Cons

There are not many downsides to working at ConocoPhillips. The only thing I can think of is the fact that the headquarters are located in Texas, which is not my ideal location to work at. I also think that the company is pretty big so it may feel like you can get lost, but as long as you take the initiative to suceed and ask questions, the size of the company won't really get to you. ConocoPhillips offers a lot to its employees and it is up to the individual to pave their own path and create their own experience.
