I worked at Constant Contact full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Good work environment with great benefits. Can be laid back, depending on which department you work for. Used to be very good with allowing employees to attend conferences to learn new skills. Free soda and beer on Fridays. Fun environment at times.

Cons

A lot of talented employees have either left or let go. Current upper management are not the brightest people but they are very clever at protecting their inner circle. Sadly, their initiative is not to improve the company but rather self preservation and their huge salaries. The company relies too much on false metrics and short term results. Sustainability will be an issue.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire yourselves and make room for capable people.

    Pros

    The people who work here are great as long as they are not senior mgt.
    Everyone pitches in and helps each other
    Benefits are good

    Cons

    Sr. Mgt. needs to stay more in touch with what is really going on and speak to the workers who are not managers and get some honest feedback and not what they want to hear from their sr. managers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Step out of your offices and do some old fashion knowledge seeking from you employees who are not your direct reports
