This is the job they mean when they say "easier to get a job when you have one": it's simply a line on your resume.

Current Employee – been working at Contemporary Services Corporation

ProsFlexible hours. Great as a second or even third job. Anyone could do this job: I'm serious. ANYone could do this job.

ConsWhere to begin? Hours tend to be weekends and holidays. HUGE gap between staff and managers financially, intellectually, and individually. The rare exception is NOT the troublemaker, it's the person who actually cares about doing their job correctly and with a decent attitude. Hardly anyone seems to actually care about excellence. If you have an issue with foul language, or beer, or standing on your feet, or disrespect from coworkers/supervisors/managers, this isn't the job for you. It's not about your merit, it's a popularity contest. And although some of the people who work there are fantastic and give a crap about the quality of their work, a VAST majority don't. It's not really an exaggeration when I say my being able to string more than 4 words together without a curse word and terrible spelling will get me recognized, if they even read this. It's sad.

Advice to Senior ManagementIt makes the company and the employees look bad when we can't retain the decent people due to the way they're treated. The only people who stay for longer than a year are the people who don't get upset at anything, the ex-cons, the students who can't find another job as flexible, and the people who get fired from every other job because they have no work ethic. I know it's hard to keep good people and I know times are hard, but sometimes people just need a pat on the back and a little raise to get them to schedule again. I keep getting asked back but why do I want to return somewhere I'm not challenged, not appreciated, and disrespected? The last time I tried to find out about a changed schedule time, I got NOT feedback until 8 hours before I was supposed to be there. How is THAT enticing, especially when you are my second job? Step it up if you want us to "Rise Up".

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
