Pros – - Continental was prudent in wading through the auto crisis and layoffs were minimized
- Good work / life balance
- Leader in technical innovation
- Global company with opportunties for advancement
Cons – - Since Continental bought Siemens VDO, the integration is still moving slow.
- Disconnect amongst Continental, Siemens VDO, Temic, and Motorola employees due to fast acquisitions
Advice to Senior Management – - Mid-level management seems to maintain too low of a profile so increased visibility would be beneficial. Upper and lower level management are communicating effectively.
