Continental Airlines ASA/Gate Agent in Seattle, WA:   (Current Employee)

Pros

The corporate culture based on respect and pulling together toward a common goal. This sounds like some sort of a BS "mission statement" that virtually all companies put out and then disregard. At Continental it is more of a reality than a PR puff piece.
The travel benefits may be a joke to some, but I think that they are the reason to work there.
Flexibility in picking up or giving away hours.
Work is always changing, never the same day twice.
Continental is very eager to improve employees skills. Classes, DVD's and web based training are all provided to learn the minimum or as much as you wish.
and.. oh yeah... TRAVEL BENEFITS

Cons

Pay is not something that would support most people.
