Pros

open communication, great co-workers, good leadership

Cons

in my area they do not have a very flexible work schedule. would be nice if a position could be done from home if the company would do so.

    Pros

    Dignity and respect are valued. Feel included and cared about. Free flights, of course, make it an attractive place to work.

    Cons

    Airlines are historically low paying employers. Near everyone could find a much better paying job easily - yet, the culture keeps you here!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    As the merger approaches, take care to integrate the Continental culture with United. Listen to employees and value their feedback.

    Very satisfied, but the merger with United is causing headhaches.

    Pros

    medical insurance, travel benefits, fair compensation, flexibility to balance lifestyle with work duties. Also, flexibility to when to take vacations and days off.

    Cons

    No promotions. No annual profit sharing because the company generally losses money. Difficult to get insight from the annual evaluation process.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The company needs direction. Since the merger with United, Continental employees feel the upper management do not want to share information about future developments in the company. Also, the CEO, when faced tough questions, does not have convincing answers.
