I have been working at Continental Airlines

    Pros

Dignity and respect are valued. Feel included and cared about. Free flights, of course, make it an attractive place to work.

    Cons

Airlines are historically low paying employers. Near everyone could find a much better paying job easily - yet, the culture keeps you here!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As the merger approaches, take care to integrate the Continental culture with United. Listen to employees and value their feedback.

The best thing about Continental AIrlines are the flight benefits and profit sharing.

    Cons

My direct managers are out-of-touch with its employees because they demand respect, yet they are unwilling to give it.

The merger of Continental Airlines and United provides a unique opportunity to get it right, I can only hope it will happen!
