    Pros

Get to meet a lot of great people! It is a wonferful interim place to work for if you need flexibility with your schedule...ie actors/students.

    Cons

Very difficult to advance or get raises (they do not exist). Concierge position, but it's really a sales job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be nice to have a company party of some sorts at the end of the year or bring back bonuses!

  2.

CGS is a deeply flawed call center, with a decent environment, 4+ year pay freeze and bottom of the barrel organization.

    Pros

Depending on which department you get assigned to, the working environment is not bad, and you are given a fair amount of freedom in doing your job. Performance reviews are strictly by metrics, which is standard enough, but promotions are rare, job opportunities are frequently not posted internally and pay is well below even the lowest market expectations (turnover due to lack of pay is extremely high).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remove the pay freeze. If there is a budget crisis, even small raises over time to the best employees would go a long way toward removing morale. CGS's own upper management has threatened in the past that CGS Tampa won't stay around unless business improves, but the answer to that isn't to destroy morale and lose what quality people you have.
