I worked at Convergys
Pros – Friendly group atmosphere
Relaxed management style
Good attendance flexibility allowance
Good career advancement prospects, rapid transition.
Effective upward communication and with administration about questions needs.
Good schedule availability and predictability.
Cons – Poor training curriculum low focus.
Poor training administration, haphazard scheduling.
Low focus on actual job applications and their use, too much theoretical rhetoric
Discord between training department knowledge and actual floor knowledge
Bad on the job support for new employees, weak management support.
Administrative inflexibility on attendance issues and situations.
Advice to Senior Management – Refine the AT&T product training method to more on the job application use and simulator experience instead of theoretical focus.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
