I worked at Convergys full-time (less than a year)

Pros

The trainers were very nice. Had an unexpected medical emergency during my first training course. Company gave me a second chance after everything was sorted out.

Cons

Extremely negative customers. Lack of support from management. Been in the customer service field for 10+ years (not here). I have never been treated so poorly by customers and management.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

A proper support system needs to be put in place and followed through with by all management.,

    They pay on time and the Atmosphere is comfortable

    Cons

    They change the rules alot and treat you as a thing not a person

    I worked at Convergys full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Benefits (Health, Dental, 401K), Decent starting pay. Many overtime hours available. Paid time off.

    Cons

    No raises. Bad management. No accountability for time put in, no seniority rights. Mandatory overtime that can be added to the end of shift with no breaks in between, which can equate to four hours straight of taking calls with no break. Poor training-what you learn in training are the basics mixed with either outdated or wrong information. Best place to start is in a brick and mortar that will allow an agent to learn from other agents.

    Bring back raises and seniority considerations.
