I have been working at Convergys full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Different opportunities for different skill sets. Lots of people at all levels interested in what motivates you and look to help you get better. Working harder to get everyone on the same page so that everyone is treated fairly.

Cons

Growing pains are difficult to work through, but it's better then the alternative (reducing employees).

    I worked at Convergys full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    This company can offer flexible hours and the pay is not bad if you have some experience. Some of the team leads are very down to earth and can manage without being condescending. There is opportunity for growth.

    Cons

    Upper management needs to be more open with their direct employees. Information is withheld as a sort of power play to maintain an advantage. In general, the company doesn't reward individuals enough for their outstanding work.

    I worked at Convergys full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Full training is provided to begin the position. Most people who work here have had no previous Technical support experience. Please note that this is in regards to one particular account. Convergys handles multiple accounts.

    Cons

    High employee turnover. People constantly being fired, quitting, people being rehired. Bad morale throughout. Though training is initially provided at the beginning of employment, continuing training is not provided at the same pace technology changes, leading to errors in customer support.
