Pros

Opportunities to learn, lots of training.

Cons

No raises, high turnover rate, bad work environment.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start giving people raises to retain employees instead of constantly replacing employees & having to retain work staff.

    I have been working at Convergys full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Different opportunities for different skill sets. Lots of people at all levels interested in what motivates you and look to help you get better. Working harder to get everyone on the same page so that everyone is treated fairly.

    Cons

    Growing pains are difficult to work through, but it's better then the alternative (reducing employees).

    I worked at Convergys full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    The training period was long and attempted to be as comprehensive as possible. The senior staff were honest about what we could expect on the floor and what advancement opportunities we had available to us.

    Cons

    There seemed to be a lot of mixed messages once on the floor. Striking a balance between resolving customer issues and getting through calls was constantly an issue. Management was inconsistent. Work/Life Balance was virtually nonexistent. However, there are plenty of opportunities for tons of overtime and bonuses for those without close family or friends.
