Former Employee – worked at Convergys full-time for less than a year
Pros – Hard to think of pros - I got paid every two weeks; they had lunch vendors in every day - you had to be quick to get something before they ran out.
Cons – Convergys secured a brand new contract in a field they never had before. They over-promised and over-committed so their response was to fire anyone that wasn't getting it. The team leads were blatantly playing favorites - it was like being in high school again. You got all kinds of assistance if you were one of the favorites. The subject matter was complicated to learn. There was a lot of stress to get it right so you wouldn't cost either company to lose money if you gave the wrong information. Would not recommend this company to anyone that I liked as they don't look out for you.
Advice to Senior Management – Research the subject matter more carefully before you over-commit.
