    Pros

    Survival job during the current economic depression. Expeience with NetApp data storage systems.

    Cons

    Advanced skills are unappreciated and unrewarded. There is no vertical career development. Very high stress customer service environment. Shift work on 24/7 basis. Company will oppose unemployment compensation if you are laid off or otherwise terminated. No loyalty to the individual. Expectation shared by many is that the NetApp relationship will end within 2 years.

    Advice to Management

    Bring wages and benefits up to industry standard and provide career training opportunities.
    Investment in your workforce brings rewards not risk.

    Pros

    At first the pros were commission based on performance; the atmosphere was fine and the people and supervisors were nice

    Cons

    Because I was working for the AT&T project and AT&T lost the bid to purchase T-Mobile (which meant they had to pay billions of dollars), AT&T started doing whatever they could to cut costs which meant continually changing the commission structure and implementing goals and customer surveys that were hard to reach so they wouldn't have to pay commission

    Advice to Management

    The advice to management is to not sell out their employees to try to keep a client who is unfair or they will continuously lose employees. The turnover rate is ridiculous.
