    Pros

Flexible schedules--for people in school or with children. Most of the staff are easy to work with. Pay and incentive raises for anyone who can adhere to a schedule.

    Cons

Like any other call center-- they just need a body to sit and answer questions for some of the most rude, ignorant people I have ever encountered. Class for 2 weeks does nothing to prepare employees for the floor and the "real world". They find a way to disguise and gloss over any real problems or concerns.

    Advice to Management

Please realize that the people you hire are a direct reflection on the management. I have seen some people working at Convergys that I would not let sleep in my dog house. Maybe have some availability for older people to move into a higher position. I have seen only 2 older women who hold an advanced position--the rest are under the age of 25. Try to be a little less condescending during your "coachings".
