I have been working at Cooper Carry Inc. full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Wide range of project types
    Large, complex projects

    Cons

    Old school hierarchical management
Diversity is lacking, particularly in upper management
    Still struggling financially from recession
Quick to hire up for projects, quick to lay off in downturns
    Chronic understaffing of projects
    Quality control needs improvement
For a large firm, little training for seasoned staff or interns

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The old way of doing business may still work (for now) in the South. But the industry is global and you continue to limit your potential with hierarchical management. People who look like you are not the only talent that should be tapped. You are on a path to become less and less relevant in the world of "good design."

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
