    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Great benefits and they do pay for some certs/continuing education.

    Cons

If you're not involved in patient care you're a second class department. Managers played favorites, even with other mangers. Performance reports used to reward cronies and punish those who don't brown nose and boot lick. Clear ageism and lookism issues to go with rampant cronyism,e.g. the young and beautiful friends of the manager got treated the best regardless of performance.

    Advice to Management

Stop promotions based on your friends and start promoting based on performance. Stop using performance reviews strictly as way to punish enemies and reward friends.

    Pros

competitive salaries, reasonable & convienient parking fees, no city wage taxes

    Cons

No management training / upward mobility programs

    Advice to Management

Place less focus on frills like EE of the month, movie tickets, errand solutions, etc - Place more focus on family/personal issues like 4-day work weeks, on-site childcare, profit-sharing, merit raises & promotion.
