I worked at Corbis full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Good Team Name, Good Owner Name, Good content. Friendship with team members. good company activities and parties - though the QB rarely shows up.

Cons

No Quarterback or a good running back or a good wide receiver (and I am not talking 'great' just 'good')
Continuous reshuffling of players
IT sucks and so does it leadership gal
So many free agents leaving the ship

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get some good team leaders and key positions re-filled.

    I have been working at Corbis full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Amazing imagery, amazing collection and history of collections. Hard to find any other Pros - even the people are leaving.

    Cons

    incapable top leadership. extremely poor IT leadership (oh I forgot - there is only one IT leader left) - but glassdoor is filled with comments on her so I will not add more.
    no direction. working on projects that make no sense. dollars spent on useless items. very low morale.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Advice to the chairman: get new people - at least in the top 10 positions.

    Too unstable. Has gone through a series of layoffs in the past few years

    Develop a better system to analyze your products. Reporting systems are seriously lacking.
