I have been working at Core Health full-time (less than a year)

Pros

Working for a company where helping people is a top priority makes you feel good at the end of each day. This company is in start-up mode and has all the advantages and disadvantages of a start up. Founders have had previous successes and know how to build an organization with a culture where every employee is important.

Cons

You have to like working for a start up and being in an environment of rapid change.

Not overly surprised that Core Health has closed its doors

I worked at Core Health full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

A lot of very good people to work with, all trying their hardest to make the business succeed despite very high hurdles.

    Cons

Like being witness to a dysfunctional family, some members of Leadership have questionable people skills and are constantly bickering with one another in front of staff, creating a somewhat hostile-feeling work environment. All incredibly intelligent people - great potential for future business IF they don't work with each other again. Amazed at how quickly Core Health failed especially after having a very successful startup prior to Core Health.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not work with one another again, definitely not a good fit. Hone your people skills, learn how to treat ALL individuals with respect regardless of your personal feelings (do unto others...). If you are good to your staff, they will go above and beyond for you. If you treat your staff disrespectfully, expect them to leave the organization at any personal cost. Suggestion: look into Assertiveness Training and similar trainings to help you be more aware of the repercussions of treating people poorly and to provide a positive work environment for your next venture(s).
