Better than average compensation
Nice Offiice Environment
Ability to work from home (Field Position)

Cons

Complete lack of career path
Systemic refusal to backfill positions lost to attrition, leading to organizational strain
Seeming inability to place value on teams not directly tied to a revenue metric
Lack of communication around employee attrition
Lack of attention to feedback from customers and employees
Increasingly negative atmosphere

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to feedback and make sure you have sufficient staffing, not to just maintain, but to scale with your desired revenue growth.

    Pros

    Working at Coremetrics can provide you with great experience in online marketing and ecommerce. They work with world class companies and because they have the data are involved with a lot of strategic decisions. Coremetrics provides a wonderful growth opportunity for motivated people in the first or second role.

    Cons

    Coremetrics provides very limited opportunities for more senior employees, especially those based in Austin. The senior management is based in California and treats the Austin team as second hand citizens. External training is non existent. The customer support team is understaffed and overworked and bears the brunt of significant customer satisfaction issues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Select a strategy and stick with it. Don't target markets and then not deliver a product to support those markets.

    Pros

    Market leading technology with strong SAAS platform that delivers real business value that customers find valuable. Strong vision of digital analytics market needs

    Cons

    Small company with a limited product line. The IBM acquisition provides the opportunity to build a digital marketing platform. This will require a strong hand from Product Management to deliver an integrated solution.
