I have been working at Corinthian Colleges full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Both pay and benefits are good

Cons

Upper management seems to have forgotten that it's employees need to feel valued.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember "Building people capabilities?" Didn't think so... The new regulatory environment/economy should not be a reason nor excuse to focus more on the bottom line than on it's people. Ask more ?'s from the campus level and listen to their possible solutions...

I worked at Corinthian Colleges full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers are great, lots of windows with a view. This was a great place to work until they started implementing some really bad business practice

    Cons

Management is atrocious, they change things on a weekly basis back and forth because they have no idea what they are doing, they use scare tactics that border on illegal HR practice. If you don't mind documenting every time you get up from your desk and the reason why (even if only for a few seconds) and having very pushy car sales type managers then this is the place for you

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are sitting on a mass amount of unused talent in your employees, rather than treating them like mindless drones and pushing for higher numbers while trying to squeeze them into submission. Try making it a happy place to work and your attrition will go down and your sales numbers will go up

I have been working at Corinthian Colleges full-time

    Pros

Encouraging atmosphere, team oriented, contributes to personal and professional growth, culture of fun and hard work, committed to company core values, great benefits

    Cons

Many people have a negative view of for-profit post secondary education, the parking structure was designed in a strange way, making it time consuming to get in and out.
